First Step To Hormones

Well today was my first appointment with my Endocronologist at Harborview who will be helping me with my hormone replacement therapy. He is starting me on the Spironolactone already but he has issues with starting me on anything else until I pass a few tests he wants to run. Mostly he is worried about my heart and circulation more than anything and once I am clear of all of those, I can start on the Progesterone (Prometrium) and then the Estrogen (Estradiol). Since I was previously diagnosed with a major syndrome, Marfan Syndrome, all my doctors wanted to rule out all the big things that could go wrong. Wish me luck!
